Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981 is an American actor. In 2000, he started his acting career playing in a variety of TV shows, including Opposite Sexual. After appearing in numerous films for teens, such as Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, Evans became famous for playing the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch. Evans appeared in several films based on graphic novels and comics including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). The film gained him more recognition due to his performance as Steve Rogers / Captain America in numerous Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He was one of the most highly paid actors around the globe thanks to his involvement in the Marvel series.
