Rosalia Vila is Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. When she was just as a teenager, the singer has worked in both the popular and the traditional genres of music. However, her musical interests are also extending to other genres including hip-hop and soul. Her voice is said by none less of a musician than flamenco Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp but that has a smoky tinge like old versions. El Mal Querer is her second album, released in 2018, which was commercially and critically acclaimed. Following Los Angeles, her debut album in 2017 it was recognized with a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and also the Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd first appeared in 2021. Motomami came out as her fourth full-length album. It included collaborations on songwriting with a variety of producers and artists, including Cory Henry. The album was released in March 2022, following the appearance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia has been the only Spanish singer to perform solo on the program. Motomami Rosala along with winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, was the first woman to win both of the awards.
